Refund Policy

1. Free trial period

All paid plans (CAST, AST, AD) include a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial. You can cancel anytime within those 7 days at no cost via your account settings or via the Stripe billing portal — no questions asked.

2. After the trial: no refunds

Once the trial ends and your first monthly (or annual) charge has been collected, we do not issue refunds — partial or full — for any reason, including:

  • Change of mind after the first billing cycle
  • Unused portion of the subscription period
  • Switching between tiers (CAST ↔ AST ↔ AD) — proration is handled automatically by Stripe
  • Inability to attend the EPSO competition you were preparing for
  • Failing the EPSO test

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

4. Exceptions

Refunds may be granted in these specific cases only:

  • Duplicate charges — if Stripe billed you twice for the same period due to a technical error, the duplicate is refunded automatically.
  • Service outage — if EU·Now is unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days within a billing period, you can request a pro-rated refund for that period.
  • Mandatory consumer protection law — where local consumer protection law (e.g. EU 14-day right of withdrawal) overrides this policy and you have not yet started using the platform's paid features. Note that by starting practice or using AI features (EUgenio) during the trial, you expressly waive the 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m).

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback dispute against a charge that does not fall under section 4, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and ban future signups associated with the disputed payment method.
